Services include process development, process optimisation, preparation of machine specifications prior to equipment purchase, process and powder specifications, and market analysis studies. We have extensive practical experience of developing laser deposition processes for production. This ranges from hard-facing of cutting products to turbine component restoration.

We understand the needs of industry to constantly reduce costs and process time whilst improving quality. We also understand that having made significant financial investment in purchasing a deposition machine, current application must be optimised, whilst new and more profitable applications must constantly be developed.

Experimental development trials can be undertaken at a client’s facility to a schedule that fits around production commitments. Alternatively, LPW Technology can also undertake or manage development programs on behalf of a client at various development facilities through partnership agreements.
